Founded in 1996 by Jim Miles and Gerard Kelly, the company has grown considerably over the years and currently has a frontlist of more than 400 titles as well as hundreds of children's ebooks and interactive ebooks. Miles Kelly supports various charities, including the Book Bus and the East Anglian Children's Hospice. A passionate advocate of the Book Bus charity, Miles Kelly has donated tens of thousands of books to help improve literacy in developing countries. In 2013, the company raised enough money through sale proceeds to buy a new bus for the charity to take to Malawi, extending the charity's reach.
